Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-07-09
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Collection by LiMon Pâtisserie (the “Service”), an online pastry video course platform operated by LiMon Pâtisserie Café, 4986b Queen Mary Rd, Montréal, QC, Canada (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account, making a purchase, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Accounts
You must provide accurate information when you create an account and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
Accounts are personal to you. You may not share your login credentials, and you must be of the age of majority where you live (or have a parent or guardian accept these Terms on your behalf) to make a purchase.
Purchases and payment
Courses and bundles are sold as one-time purchases in Canadian dollars (CAD). Payments are processed securely by Stripe; we never receive or store your full card details.
If you pay from outside Canada, Stripe may charge your card in your local currency at its own exchange rate. Any prices shown in other currencies on the site are approximate estimates provided for convenience only.
We may change prices, promotions, and product offerings at any time. The price that applies to you is the one shown at the moment of purchase, and you are responsible for any applicable taxes.
Access and licence
Once your payment is confirmed, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and view the content you purchased, for your own personal use.
“Lifetime access” means access for as long as we continue to operate the Service and offer that content — it does not mean the Service or any particular course will be available forever. If a purchased course is permanently retired, we will give reasonable notice.
What you may and may not do
You are welcome to bake the recipes and sell the finished desserts in your own business. The recipes, techniques, and results are yours to use commercially.
- You may not copy, download (beyond the PDF guides we provide for your own use), record, screen-capture, re-upload, stream, broadcast, sell, sub-license, share, or otherwise redistribute the videos, PDF guides, or any other course materials, in whole or in part, in any form.
- You may not share your account, or give anyone else access to content you purchased.
- You may not attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security, access-control, or content-protection features of the Service.
- You may not use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or scrape, data-mine, or use automated means to access it.
- A breach of this section is a material breach of these Terms and may result in immediate termination of your access without a refund, in addition to any other remedies available to us.
Intellectual property
All content on the Service — including the videos, PDF guides, the recipes as expressed in our materials, text, images, branding, and design — is owned by LiMon Pâtisserie Café or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. Except for the limited licence above, no rights are transferred to you.
Refunds
Because a purchase gives you immediate access to digital content, all sales are generally final. That said, if something went wrong, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we will review your request in good faith. Refunds are at our reasonable discretion and may be declined where content has been substantially accessed or downloaded, or where we detect abuse.
Gift draws and promotions
From time to time a purchase may include an in-café gift or prize draw. Any such prize is subject to its stated terms, is redeemable only in person at LiMon Pâtisserie Café, has no cash value, and cannot be exchanged or transferred.
Availability and third-party services
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of it. The Service relies on third parties such as Stripe (payments), Vimeo (video streaming), and Supabase (accounts), whose availability is outside our control.
Educational purpose and disclaimers
Our courses are provided for educational purposes. We do not guarantee any particular result or outcome. You are responsible for food safety, hygiene, allergen management, and compliance with any laws or regulations that apply to preparing or selling food where you live.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LiMon Pâtisserie Café will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the product giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms. On termination for breach, the licence granted to you ends and no refund is due.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of Québec will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page, and significant changes take effect when posted. Your continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.
